Latest News

A Clayton County woman, Mary Morton, has alleged that her insurance agent retained a $1,400 check intended for her home insurance policy, leaving her uninsured. This situation came to light when Morton filed a claim for a water leak, only to discover her name was not in the insurance database. After filing a complaint with the Clayton County police and contacting the insurance board, Morton reported that multiple victims had similar issues with the same agent. Although she eventually recovered her money, the annual cost for her new insurance policy has now tripled.
